CRISC Top Certification 2018 (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)

Which certification should you attain during 2018, based on earnings? This article will assist you in this regard, as determined by various international surveys. The surveys were conducted globally, but focus on the US, and established that “Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)” will likely to be the top certification during 2017, with expected annual salary of $130,000.

ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) offers this certification, which is designed for IT professionals, project managers and others who are responsible for identification and management of IT and business risks through Information Systems. It was introduced in 2010, covers the life cycle from design to implementation, to maintenance. More than 20,000 persons have acquired this credential. CRISC is expected to be the most highly paid certification during 2017 since there is high demand, and small number of people available.

Eligibility criteria to obtain CRISC certification is three years experience. Exam is computer based, and will be conducted during May 1 to June 30, 2018, August 1 to September 30, 2018, and November 1 to December. 31, 2018.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits are needed every year to maintain the certification.
